Don’t know what to make of this at all. Why isn’t Dieter being broken down by David Hampton??

Dieter wouldn’t do these awful things, would he? It’s true that he hasn’t had the slightest thing go wrong for him. Kian thinks it’s Dieter for sure, you can just tell. Emma’s defending him to the hilt because she is sleeping with him. I don’t think he’s that bad – I’ve always liked Dieter, rather seen him as an older brother. I couldn’t bear to think that he is behind all of this evil. At least he’s the most honest person here, and he remains true to his spirituality which in times of trouble, you have to respect.

Well turns out Emma and Dieter have started a relationship. Woop dee doo. I couldn’t care less. They both seem to hate me anyway. For all I know they could have planned this from the start, both of them, orchestrating the whole thing for their amusement. I mean you notice how nothing dirty has come out on that blog about either of them??

Okay, this might sound absolutely crazy but, is there any chance do you think that someone on the bus might be behind it? I don’t know. Everyone here seems to hate my guts, Dieter’s been pretty bloody blasé about the whole thing, and Tete is just being Little Miss Tragedy, everyone is so sympathetic to her about Billy and her ‘withdrawl’ from the drugs, no one seems to notice my broken heart. I’m sorry, but when it comes to drugs – everyone knows the dangers. You make your bed… Jude is just sulking and Kian is sitting around all day staring out the window. I don’t know.

People are capable of more than you think, I guess.

Back on the road again, whew! I was reluctant at first, but in the end I really enjoyed Global Gathering. It has such a cool, relaxed vibe. By the way, Dieter winning the task was just about the funniest thing ever, I laughed like crazy, he got up on this podium all covered in UV body paint and just danced like there was no tomorrow!
That’s kind of cool about Global Gathering actually I think, lots of people here really don’t seem to mind what people think of them, they just relax and let the world happen to them.

I’m also a bit worried about Emma, not to sound mumsy, but she is drinking way more than I’ve ever seen anyone do before, and you can’t control yourself when you’re drunk…I hope she’ll be okay.

Settling in

I just can’t put this excitement I feel into words – I’m totally exhausted but I don’t want to stop! It’s hard for me to sleep at night right now, I miss my Jonathon so much it hurts and not being able to see him right now is driving me crazy.

I’m keeping very busy though which helps. Sort of getting to know people on the bus, so far Dieter seems to be really funny. He’s German and really into his ethnic music and seems very spiritual which is always cool! Kian seems really on the ball, looking forward to getting to know him better in the coming weeks. Jude is also a nice guy, but seems to have sex on the brain and seems to think I want to hear about it all the time – which I don’t! Maybe I’m just being boring!

Tete dresses and looks like a super model, really cool like Kate Moss or something. Her Dad (who died when she was a teenager – poor Tete) was like some kind of rock star so she has this insane glamourous past, very interesting girl! And Emma is really lovely too, although I worry a little bit about her outfits, I don’t know if it’s suitable to walk around in this searing heat with so much skin on show! I wonder if the amount of fake tan she has on offers any protection against the sun?

WOAH! I can’t believe I’m finally here. Total culture shock. Not to mention this is my very first time away from my family, and my first time anywhere more exotic than Normandy. So it’s incredibly weird and cool, and I’m insanely nervous! Eek!
So far, it’s been a lot of fun meeting all the other people, though I don’t think we have very much in common! But they seem very interesting, and definitely a diverse bunch so I can’t wait to get to be friends with them all. The girls seem really nice and they’re so much more glamorous than me, but I haven’t talked to the boys very much yet… just a tiny bit shy. Plus Jude is so hyper and rock’n’roll, and Dieter keeps doing meditation on the bus (?), but I’m sure I’ll get used to it!

This is what it’s all about after all; I think it would be impossible not to be ridiculously excited about what’s going to happen next! Of course I’m really missing the family, and my sweetheart. But right now I just want to arrive at Benacassim and let the summer really begin!
